Inter-Agency Task Team for HIV in Emergency Situations COVID-19 Brief

This document was led by WFP, UNHCR with inputs from UNAIDS and has been reviewed with our IATT membership through a consultative process. The brief summarizes HIV in humanitarian situations, gathers key facts for HIV in emergencies during the COVID pandemic, highlights challenges and impacts of COVID-19 on PLHIV in humanitarian situations, and outlines additional vulnerabilities, restrictions, a provides measures and recommendations to maintain essential HIV services during COVID-19, while also touching upon recommendations for the provision of services for co-infected individuals living w/ HIV and TB, as well as providing several  links to other documents and guidance relevant to the COVID response for HIV in emergencies and humanitarian situation.
